Somers Lions Club Charities Dinner

The Somers Lions Club donated $25,000 to local charities that serve the members of their community with special needs.  Executive directors from these organizations attended a special dinner in their honor.  President Herb Reimann, Finance Committee Chairman Gary Forbes, and Treasurer Phil Masi presented the checks to the following organizations:

 Blythedale Children’s Hospital with CEO Maureen Desimone

Community YMCA of Northern Westchester with Executive Director Bonnie Fogarty

Friends of Karen with Executive Director  Gwen Salmo

Other donations were given to:

SPARC – Special Program and Resource Connection – Executive Director Rose Rothe

North East Westchester Special Recreation – Executive Director Janet Riley

Northern Westchester Community Center – Directors Fran Dowling and Michele Boniello
